Erika Miller emiller@websterplace.org

Erika has over seven years experience in the field of recovery. She received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Binghamton University. She is also currently in the process of pursuing her MLADC. Much of Erika's professional experience comes from working with at-risk youth and families and individuals suffering from addiction; including those with co-occurring disorders. Erika believes that there is no job more worthwhile than one which helps to change peoples' lives. Her goal in working with people is to be direct yet gentle, to help educate, build coping skills and to provide emotional support during difficult times. She is careful never to tell people what to do, but to help empower them to discover solutions for themselves. She has come to appreciate the healing power of alternative therapies, including Reiki, acupuncture and eco-therapy and is excited to be part of a program which shares many of her same values.
