Webster Place Recovery Center is a collection of highly skilled and experienced staff working closely with dedicated and caring recovering volunteers to create a community devoted to helping people help themselves and each other through meaningful participation in a dignified healing process based on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. Residents will reach their full potential through extensive self examination and program enhancements geared to identify the scope and severity of their illness and what steps others have taken that are necessary to recover.

At Webster Place Recovery Center we believe that time is often the critical factor for recovery to occur and the length of stay is based on individual progress and is therefore without fixed lengths of stay. This allows residents to be sure that the brain and body are chemical free and are healing correctly. Time also allows for the resident to develop new social, mental and behavioral habits as well as identify and remove the roadblocks to recovery. This transformation process allows for a 12 Step based approach to life that is guided by spiritual principles and substitutes effective support systems in all aspects of our lives.

The Webster Place Recovery Center is a working community. Residents participate in chores, helping to maintain the farm and reconnecting with the land through a small-scale farming operation. Program enhancements geared to individual strengths and weaknesses are also provided. The typical resident will be someone who has completed detox or intensive in-patient treatment, but who is not yet ready to return home. The length of stay is open-ended and averages 60-90 days. A 30 day minimum is recommended. Individuals will work with staff to determine an appropriate length of stay and will work to develop a solid recovery plan in their home area prior to discharge that will include connections with members of the recovery community. Individuals who feel they need an extended stay or wish to relocate to the local area will receive assistance in securing local housing. Limited extended stay accommodations are available on the farm.

A confidential pre-registration is required for all individuals seeking residence. This questionnaire is to gain an understanding of unique circumstances and situations each potential resident will have and determine appropriateness for registration. The pre-registration involves discussion with a family member or significant other and a medical/mental status waiver signed by your primary physician.
