Our Core Values are:Safety, Hope, Compassion, Respect, Dignity, Honesty, Responsibility, Accountability, Fairness, Peers Support, Professionalism, Ethics
Our Vision Our vision is to provide a supportive and safe residential environment, with a culture of dignity and respect, where a peer-based community of alcohol and substance abuse recovery is facilitated.
Our Mission Help men and women, who want to get and stay sober, begin a journey of recovery, with support of peers.
Our Goal To help men and women, who have a desire to recover from alcohol and substance abuse, grow into long term recovery one day at a time – one person at a time – using materials from the evidence based SAMHSA model & 12-Step program based materials from AA & NA (though we are not affilliated with AA nor NA) in a comprehensive peer support program with additional program enhancements. We do this while building a plan for relapse avoidance and aftercare prior to departure. We also strive to attract alumni and community peer support with ongoing programs and meetings. It is our goal to do this in a self-sustaining way with positive impact on the surrounding community.
Results As 2011 comes to a close, over 500 residents have come to "Grow into recovery"tm at Webster Place Recovery Center. A community of support grows larger and wider spread each month as new residents transition to alumni (many returning to give back to this place which has given them so much.) Together Everyone Achieves More as peers help peers in one committed TEAM effort. The alumni community stays connected with Webster Place after their stay with a number of support vehicles including several open meetings, returning to share their experience, strength and hope with new residents, alumni only weekly meetings, electronically via subscriptions to our Daily Affirmations and our Webster Place Newsletter as well as a private Alumni group on Facebook. Many alumni keep in touch with each other for ongoing support and encouragement via phone, email, and social networking as well. The broader community also plays a major role in supporting our residents and alumni with AA and NA meetings on site and locally, sponsor support, rides to meetings, sharing with new residents in house, and by volunteering services, making donations of furniture and by donating to help scholarship those in need. We offer each resident an opportunity to give us feedback so we can improve. Most chose to fill out our anonymous survey as they complete the program and this very spiritual place and the community have clearly made a positive impact towards growth and change in their lives.
