Volunteer Recognition Reception 9-11-08  Founder Alex Ray, Board Chairman Paul Lavallee and Executive Director John Knowles greeted over 50 guests to the first annual Volunteer Recognition Reception on the Grounds of Webster Place Recovery Center. The event began with a time to mix, mingle and explore the grounds while enjoying a wonderful array of food and beverages catered by the Common Man Concord. Board President Paul Lavallee began the program with welcoming remarks and praised all in attendance for their dedication and belief in the Webster Placemission. Following Paul’s remarks the crowd was overwhelmed by the stirring testomonials of David N. and Colleen O. Founder Alex Ray gave a humble rendition of the many events that led to the establishment of the facility and passed out tokens of gratitude that included Webster Place Maple Syrup, T-Shirts, Note Cards and the ever popular Common Man White Chocolate. After tours, the crowd dispersed with the knowledge that the property so steeped in history, healing and hope would continue its mission - “Growing into recovery, one person at a time, one day at a time”.
